My name is Jonathan DiGiacomo. I currently work at Santa Monica Studio as a Graphics Programmer implementing the latest technology, optimizing systems, and collaborating with artists to make God of War Ragnarok a truly amazing and memorable experience.
Professionally, my primary interests lay in lighting, visually-focused rendering techniques, and optimization. My favorite part of the job is pushing graphics to the limit and helping artists achieve their vision.
From an early age, I realized I wanted to develop games. I started teaching myself to program in the 6th grade. During my early years, I would obsessively develop programs and read up on topics such as the rendering pipeline. My hunger for knowledge only grew as I expanded and refined my abilities during my university years. Even now, I am still happily learning more each and every day.
I had the pleasure of earning my M.S. in Computer Science (Game Development) at the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California in 2019 and my B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at Stevens Institute of Technology in 2017.
